Twitter is continuing with its war against the third-party apps. The latest victims are those sites that run on the micro-blogging platform but don't make money. Only apps and websites that are paying to use Twitter for its data will be have a sign in button.

The point was first noted by author Tom Scott of the Australian parody blog site. The author says that he won't bother developing the site with Twitter's new rules.

This latest move comes even as Twitter's control over outside web-clients that allow users to tweet has got more and more restrictive.

Firstly, the microblogging site's new API rules impose a user limit for thir-party app developers. As Scott argues in his post, the limit is useless because he would cross 1,00,000 tweets in a matter of hours.
