On Tuesday Rajasthan launched an online tracking system to provide realtime information and updates about location of state roadways buses. Transport Minister of Rajasthan, Virendra Beniwal inaugrated the vehicle tracking system, which has been installed by a private firm at Sindhi Camp bus stand.

According to RSRTC officials, this will help in tracking of the buses and passengers and they will get realtime information about the location of the buses.

Under the first phase of the project, 1000 buses will be linked with the VTS and Fuel Management System (FMS). Passenger information system will be installed at 25 main bus stands across the state. According to the officials, so far, the firm has linked 300 buses with the VTS and FMS.
