According to a new report, social networking-giant Facebook is trying to buy web browser maker Opera Software. According to Tech blog Pocket-lint social media giant is looking to buy Oslo, Norway-based Opera to expand into the browser space.
When contacted both Facebook and Opera declined to comment. If Facebook succeeded in doing so then it would be facing competition from Google, Microsoft, Mozilla, Apple and even Yahoo, which just launched its own Axis browser this week.
