Intel launches low voltage Ivy Bridge Chips

After launching the Ivy Bridge Platform for desktops, Intel today launched the Ultra Low Voltage(ULV) and Standard Voltage(SV) mobile Ivy Bridge Chips which would be used in laptops, ultra books and hybrid devices.

The price of these Ivy Bridge ULV processors is expected to over $225. Intel has only announced the core i7 and core i5 parts today whereas the core i3 parts will be announced some time later. Unlike the quad-core desktop chips, the ULV chips are mostly dual-core.

Because I am absolutely terrible about following through with blog awards, I can't in good conscience accept any more. Thank you very much for thinking of me though!
