Pakistan government on Saturday lifted its 3-month ban on YouTube, imposed to cut off access to clips from anti-Islam film, only to reinstate it within less than an hour.
The Pakistan telecommunication authority directed internet service providers and mobile phone firms to unblock YouTube on Saturday afternoon. Within an hour, however, PM Raja Pervez Ashraf reinstated the ban after a right-wing journalist from the Jang news group reported that the anti-Islam film, "Innocence Of Muslims" could still be accessed on YouTube.
Interior Minister Rehman MAlik had tweeted on Friday that Pakistani authorities would lift the ban on YouTube within 24 hours. He said that "there was a great demand to unblock YouTube from all sections of society."

Because I am absolutely terrible about following through with blog awards, I can't in good conscience accept any more. Thank you very much for thinking of me though!
