BenQ launches two budget 16MP SLR cameras

BenQ India has just launched its two new budget cameras, GH700 and GH600 designed on the SLR platform. These cameras features a 16MP camera and come with a starting price of Rs. 10,999.

Both of the cameras feature a 16 megapixel back side illuminated sensor and a 21x optical zoom. In terms of features both cameras are identical except in the design elements and battery life. The GH700 offers slightly higher battery life of 400 shots on standard AA cells whereas GH600 offers 330 shots on a full charge. Other difference between the two cameras is the gold ring that adorns the front of the lens on GH700.

It is an interesting part on BenQ's part, launching two cameras having similar features that compete with Nikon, Sony and Canon. The pricing of these cameras is sure to attract many of those who are on a tight budget.

Because I am absolutely terrible about following through with blog awards, I can't in good conscience accept any more. Thank you very much for thinking of me though!
