Google has taken an initiative to to prevent endangered languages from extinction. The initiative is called "The Endangered Languages Project". Google aims to use the latest technology to encourage communication between people familiar with the languages on the verge of extinction and create a comprehensive database that preserves the language forever.

Google further said to create a database of over 3000 endangered languages. According to Google this would help in preserving the 'cultural diversity, honouring the knowledge of our elders and empowering our youth'. Google hopes technology helps people familiar with these languages communicate more and preserves them as well.

Because I am absolutely terrible about following through with blog awards, I can't in good conscience accept any more. Thank you very much for thinking of me though!
