Use photos to ask for directions while travelling in foreign countries

Travelling in a country where you don't know the language could make problems when you need to communicate. If language is the problem and id becoming a cause of failure carry some photos or drawings of common things that you might need...like some drawing of a toilet with a question mark if you want to know where is the bathroom.

Carrying around a stack of printed pictures might not be the most appealing option, but that's why we have smartphones and other handy gadgets. Just have some drawings in your photo album and snap some photos of places you'll need to return to at some point. If you can ask "how do I get there?" or "where is it?" and show someone a photo, you'll have a better chance of getting the information you need.

Because I am absolutely terrible about following through with blog awards, I can't in good conscience accept any more. Thank you very much for thinking of me though!
